Pop Culture – Trailers hit for “The Social Network” aka Facebook movie

The first trailer for the long awaited Facebook movie, “The Social Network,” has hit the interwebs. The dramatic trailer gives no scenes, only words such as “Punk,” and “Genius,” while clips from the movie run in the background over dramatic build up music. The movie is based on the exaggerated book by Ben Mezrich, “The Accidental Billionaires: The Founding of Facebook A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius, and Betrayal.” Ben is famous for his other books, “Rigged,” and “Bringing Down the House.” The movie has a powerhouse of production behind it, as the screen play was written by Aaron Sorkin – famous for writing “A Few Good Men,” and “The West Wing,” and it is directed by David Fincher, director of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button,” “Fight Club,” and “Se7en.”  Jesse Eisenberg, famous for his role in Zombieland, plays Mark Zuckerberg, and the film also features Justin Timberlake as one of the characters. Regardless of how good the movie ends up, we’re betting it’ll be a monster blockbuster.
