Marketing Innovation – Dino Meat, mmmm

A Bronze winner in the Media category in Cannes for Best Use of Ambient Media: Small Scale was this execution from DDB Germany for new Bosch International “VitaFresh” Refrigerators, called Fresh Stone-Age Meat. The challenge was to show how much longer the new refrigerators kept meat fresh than others in a place where freshness matters to them most: the supermarket. So, they placed fresh “dinosaur” meat in supermarket refrigerators complete with QR codes that led curious consumers to the VitaFresh website for more information. It was a very cool execution and the dinosaur meat looks disgustingly real. Our favorite part is the label shows what part of the dinosaur the meat comes from – hilarious detail, nice touch.
