We sell the naming rights to stadiums, why not subway stops? Cash strapped cities with subway systems, such as Washington D.C. and Miami are now considering selling naming rights to each subway station in an attempt to close budget gaps. Already, a major stop in Brooklyn has been re-commissioned as Atlantic Avenue Pacific Street-Barclays Center Station, after a sponsorship agreement with Barclays Bank, which also sponsors a new sports arena at the location, and Philadelphia has AT&T station at the end of its Broad Street subway line. Need help on your mortgage? We suggest selling the naming rights to your home, maybe even painting the logo on your driveway.
