Innovations Pick: KLM Airlines’ Massive Twitter Responses

We’ve seen some fun Twitter response campaigns in the past (talking to you, Old Spice) – but none have reached the level of KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ recent stunt.   For 12 hours, the airline filled a hangar with 140 of their employees who spelled out responses to their fans/customers by holding up giant letter cards via video through Twitter.  When KLM later announced they wanted to try the same program, only with their email responses instead, the employees promptly went on strike.
